About Solar Neighbourhoods
Solar Neighbourhoods is a joint project of the Toronto Atmospheric Fund, Toronto Energy Efficiency Office, Toronto Environment Office and Toronto Hydro. The goal of the project is to advance the use of solar hot water systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve local air quality. The project has begun with a pilot project in Toronto's east end that is funded in part with provincially mandated funding from the Portlands Energy Centre (located on the eastern waterfront).
